Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies Dough Recipe: A Treat for All Ages!

The Recipe:


  • 1 cup vegan butter (we love using coconut oil or almond butter!)

  • 3/4 cup sugar

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 2 large eggs, replaced by 2 flax eggs*

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup semisweet vegan chocolate chips


  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the vegan butter and sugars until light and fluffy.

  3. Add the flax eggs** and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.

  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.

  5. Fold in those delicious chocolate chips!

  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches of space between each cookie.

  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden brown.

  8. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
